When Jessica asked me to photograph her wedding, I was a little hesitant. I'm still learning a lot, and I'd never shot a wedding before. I usually don't get too nervous with a photography shoot...I mean the worst thing that could happen is you don't get the shots you wanted...well just reschedule. You can't exactly reschedule a wedding. You get what you get. So, I was extremely nervous!! Jessica is one of my dearest friends, and I wanted to get everything exactly right. The weather was beautiful, she looked gorgeous...couldn't have been better. I enjoyed the experience, but have to say...this was probably my first and last wedding! Too stressful for me :)
Lindsey, you are so talented. You took someone as beautiful as my sister and made everything about her day about her and Greg... everything a masterpiece. You are so very creative taking the most minute things that most people would want to hide in a picture and making it amazing... part of the focus... even down to Kristen's old makeup brushes that were old and worn... the hairspray bottles and all the poses. I cried. I'm still crying. I'm so glad you did their pictures. I hope this isn't your last wedding. It would be such a shame to see you close that chapter of your talent and career. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful! One day that'll be me. I would be honored if you would do mine. --Ashley
