Three seriously cute kiddos...

These cuties are the niece and nephews of my friend Emily @ work.  They live in Texas, so when they came in town this week we had to meet up for a session!  They are so stinking adorable!!

Vanessa. Maternity Session.

Meet sweet Vanessa & her hubs Brandon.  They are expecting their first little boy on New Year's Eve.  I've been taking baby Parker's pictures for 6 months now in his mama's belly, and can't wait to meet him & take his pictures when he makes his arrival!!  The last shot of the two of them snuggling is my fave!!



Millican Family

Last month I had a drawing for a free session, & pulled Melia's name out of the box!  She chose to use her session for some family pictures, so we met up this weekend @ the Guntersville State Park to try to take advantage of the fall leaves.  We ended up with a pretty dreary day, but fortunately we ended up with some great shots!



Brasher/Sanders Family

Meet the Brashers & Sanders (this is the grandparents, aunt & uncle, and cousins of baby Gunnar from the previous post).  Such a cute, sweet family.  I had a blast (& got a little workout) chasing these girls around!

Gunnar Brooks. 4 days new.

Meet sweet baby Gunnar...I photographed him entering the world and then was priviledged enough to do his newborn photos as well.  He is such a cutie & he did so great for his pictures (he slept so well because apparently he stayed up & partied all the night before :)

I'm sure I will be photographing this little guy for a long time to come!!  Congrats Laura & Keith...your little man is perfection!

Waiting on baby Eli...

Morgan & Nick are so stinking cute...and I know their little boy is going to be also!  I know this because that's my handiwork in image 3...yep I've been ultrasounding that baby for months now watching him grow...and trust me...gonna be a heartbreaker!  He's got lips to die for!  I can't wait to meet Eli in January & hopefully be photographing him then also!! 



Welcome to the world Gunnar Brooks...

Wow...where do I start?  I was completely honored when Laura asked me to photograph the birth of her first child.  This would not only be my first birth photography experience, but my first birth experience period.  I see babies in utero every day, but have never experienced watching them enter this world.  It was the most magical, emotional, wonderful, magnificent experience ever.  There are not even words to describe it.  It was beautiful.  Laura is beautiful.  Her new baby boy is beautiful.  And I will never forget the day, and now Laura won't forget one part of it because of the wonderful memories & emotions preserved in these images.
